Police Arrested 4 Passengers in Ondo State For Beheading An Okada Rider.
The Ondo State Police Command has captured four suspects over the slaughtering of a commercial bike rider, Olawale Gbogi, who was decapitated by the suspects. The four suspects, Abdulahi Sheu, 21, Harruna Suberu, 18, Dada Alabi 25 and Onimisi Liberty, 24, were said to have tricked Gbogi out of Ikare Akoko, to a town in Ihima in Kogi state where he was slaughtered.
Talking amid their parade, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mr Femi Joseph, said the suspects were captured after a formal protest was stopped by a relative of the casualty, Omotomogun Tayo, a month ago.
As indicated by Joseph, the police swung vigorously and one of the suspects, Abdullah, was captured in Akure for supposedly being in control of the casualty's handset. The PPRO said different individuals from the pack were captured after Abdullah was cross examined and admitted to the wrongdoing yet said one of the suspects has fled with the leader of the casualty.
He clarified that the suspects moved toward Gbagi to take them to Ihima and concurred on the entirety of N3,000 yet they slaughtered and guillotined him, leaving his body in the bramble. One of the suspects, who is currently everywhere, is in control of the head.
